Hey Siva,
   You could try creating a brandz zone and build from within the zone. 
This way it does not disturb your desktop in the global zone. Once you 
have built everything, you can just uninstall the old packages and 
install the new packages in the global zone. Maybe I should write a 
quick document on how I have my machine setup.
