I have read this discussion about opening KDE on OpenSolaris:

What about it? Is this project currently open and working?

It has not been completely accepted by the OpenSolaris community?

Should be nice having KDE as the default (or at least, as a full supported alternative to JDS) desktop on OpenSolaris.
