[desktop-discuss] How many windows are accepted by Compiz?

Hi all,

I've installed Compiz 0.5.0 on b62 with Vermilion b64, on a Dell with a Quadro FX 550.
It works, I get the effects and all, but there's a weird issue: after I open about 10 windows, all the next ones are either completely transparent (gnome-terminal) or completely black (Firefox).
there not hanged: I can close gnome-term with a <ctrl>+D. There's just not displaying.
If I close some windows and restart the same app, then it displays.
So there seems to be a limit in the total number of accelerated windows?
