I tried it using the Nvidia Settings Manager, no succes.
I also tried editing the xorg.conf file, the maximum I get out of it is a very blury output on the 2nd monitor, which crashes as soon as I eg. open a terminal.
Then we tried the other way around: enabling the second screen first and then add 3D.  The only way we succeeded to have cloned output was by removing xorg.conf, but this is needed for compiz.
We're all working on Tecra M2/M3.  Do you have an example xorg.conf, with which you successfully deployed compiz on a 2nd screen?
