It seems that it is configurable.  A few weeks back in this thread,

The complaint though, is not that it's not configurable; it's that the 
default key combination is too easily triggered by accident.  People who 
trigger this by accident don't know about (nor want to know about) 
iiim-properties, therefore don't know how to go change the default.
