[desktop-discuss] bug? iiimx IM status window

Very annoying: when running X applications, a small white window with text "[ English/European ]" starts with nearly every window in its lower left corner.  I can't kill these windows in the taskbar, so after a while my screen is cluttered with these small windows.
I'm running Nevada 70b on SPARC.

Any hints how to get rid of these are highly welcome!
