Hmm - sounds like a bug alright - gnome-sys-suspend shouldn't be registering
itself in the session...

You can see that it does by running gnome-session-properties and viewing the
current applications - make sure it's to one side so that it's not obscured, and
also big enough to see the whole list in one go.

When you run gnome-sys-suspend it will appear in the list of applications... So
if you auto-save the session at this point, it will certainly re-appear on next
login.
