[desktop-discuss] Gnome thinks that my compose key is stuck

I´m running build 73, and Gnome seems to think that my Compose key is 
always pressed.  If I restart the Input Method applet that seems to 
always run, then everything goes back to normal.

The symptom is that if I type a character like ´, I need to press it 
twice (the first time I press it, there´s no output at all).  If I press 
the characters ´ and e in succession, it´s as if I had the compose key 
pressed and I end up with é.  Is this a known bug?
