[desktop-discuss] Gnome thinks that my compose key is stuck

You can change IM trigger key via iiim-properties utility which starts
by right click IM Switcher and select Preference. You see Trigger Keys tab.
It's also possible to disable IM by de-selecting "[ ] Enable Input Method"
