Just "pkg-get -i vlc" from the Blastwave mirrors. It is that easy!

I'm going to ask Murray, our Blastwave VLC package maintainer, to update Blastwave's VLC to v0.8.6e through their standardized build process and test methods. 

You can file issues with VLC for Solaris at: http://www.blastwave.org/bugtrack so we can track issues and concerns with the VLC port.
