Miguel de Icaza, Robert Love, Danese Cooper, Ian Murdock from Sun, and
others are going to be participating at LugRadio 2008 at the Metreon in
San Francisco.  Note that the Call-For-Papers is still open:

Not sure if people are aware of this, but looks like an interesting
event.  Perhaps more people from Sun and OpenSolaris who are in the bay
