[desktop-discuss] Timezones doesnt keep the state if i log out and in again

One of the cool features is the timezone button on the clock preferences, but unfortunately it doesn't stay there if i log out and log in again, so every time i log in , i have to set it via the preferences of the clock applet on the gnome-panel, the box is checked but there is no sign of the timezone on the panel, i have to recheck the button off and on again and it is ok after i do that.
Is it any other way to do this automatically or any way to save the state of the timezone button, since i make a lot of use of the timezone button a lot on my work.
