Hi Lars,
There are several ways to test the performance for Firefox on your Sun
Ray environment.
The Firefox Tinderbox
trees(http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showbuilds.cgi?tree=Firefox) has
deployed many automated testings. Please refer to
http://wiki.mozilla.org/Performance:Tinderbox_Tests to get some ideas on
these tests. Some of them are also deployed on Solaris
trees(http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/showbuilds.cgi?tree=Firefox-Ports and
http://tinderbox.mozilla.org/SeaMonkey-Ports/). As I know, the Mozilla
community is moving performance tests from Tinderbox to Talos. The
following link might be helpful: http://wiki.mozilla.org/StandaloneTalos.

The bundled Firefox for Solaris Nevada is linked with the system
NSS/NSPR. If you're using the contributed Firefox build, it has its own
copy of NSS/NSPR in case some user's Solaris environment doesn't have one.
