Hi,

I downloaded the firefox build (version 2.0.0.7) from
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/2.0.0.7/contrib/solaris_tarball/firefox-2.0.0.7.en-US.solaris8-sparc-gtk1.tar.bz2 

installed it on our solaris 9 workstation.

It seems to work, except that SVGs are not shown.

Instead of embedded SVGs a puzzle icon is shown. When I click on it the
"Plugin Finder Service" Dialog appears displaying "No suitable plugins
were found. Unknown Plugin (image/svg+xml)

When I try to open a SVG file FF sys that he doesn't know what to do
with this file.

Whats wrong? Is the SVG component supposed to work under solaris?
