hmm ... NWAM is very tightly coupled to SMF (service management
facility) at the moment, and I don't think we should even consider
configuring the network without NWAM on Solaris going forward.
I do agree that on other platforms, the situation may be different ...
but we were talking about (Open)Solaris, IIRC :-)
