Once GNOME and Apple make sure "Folders" are named "Directories" we'll 
have less trouble using the correct term.  Spin your own GNOME patches 
to fix the issue, cause current implementation still refers to them as 
folders.  I usually call them the correct term, but when explaining 
something on the desktop, folder != directory by naming convention.
