Hi Matthew,

OOo 3.0 beta was installed via a Java script (nor JavaScript); it is not part of the IPS and I believe you have to load the icon manually.

OOo 2.4.0, OTOH, can be installed via the IPS, and it can be started from the Application panel.  Actually, no re-loggin is necessary.
