All of our Windows machines can run "the entire OpenSolaris distribution" via Sun xVM VirtualBox.  Since the main attractions of OpenSolaris are ZFS, DTrace, SMF, etc., all of which are quite heavy stuff, I don't see the advantage of reducing it to a mere executable in Windows.

However, it is an interesting thought if we can combine the advantages of OpenSolaris and Ubuntu (i.e., have a concerted effort to port all the applications programs in Ubuntu to OpenSolaris).  This will be really awesome.  :-)
