Hi Mike,

I suggest
  # pkgrm via-rhine-ethernet		# to remove the old one
  # pkgrm SUNWvr				# to remove the possibly partial installed new one
  # pkgadd -d nvx117/Solaris_11/Product SUNWvr # to install the build  
117 one
