Hi All,

I am new to opensolaris platform and I have a device driver to test on it
(OpenSolaris 2009.06). For compiling the driver I did not find "cc" or "gcc"
installed by default on my system. Any idea on how can I install these
packages? Is there anything like "yum install cc" on OpenSolaris like in
Linux? I downloaded SunStudio12u1-SunOS-x86-pkgs.sh from Sun's website but
could not install it successfully. I get this error message:

"Please install this Sun Studio version IPS package using the pkg command or
package manager"

The "uname -a" output of my machine is as follows:
SunOS opensolaris 5.11 snv_111b i86pc i386 i86pc Solaris

Any pointers on this is highly appreciated!

Thanks,
Adhiraj Joshi.
