Guys,

I wanted to use this opportunity to announce a project we've
been working on for the past month and a half: D-Light.
Project D-Light is a new tool that not only unifies application and
system profiling, including the use of Dtrace technology, but also
introduces a a simple drag 'n drop interface that interactively displays
how your application is performing. In addition, you can identify the
line of code you are at at any point in the timeline, giving you the
information you need to make improvements, quickly.

You can get a quick idea of what it is by looking at this presentation
I did at JavaONE:
   http://sun.feedroom.com/linking/?skin=twoclip&fr_story=FEEDROOM192569

But of course, the real reason I'm writing this email is because
I really want to know what you all think about it. So if the
presentation looks convincing enough consider downloading the
bits from here:
    http://developers.sun.com/sunstudio/downloads/express.jsp

and dropping me a note (or even expressing your opinion
on the Sun Studio Tools forum:
http://forum.java.sun.com/forum.jspa?forumID=852).

Thanks,
Roman.
