[dtrace-discuss] drops on CPU

I tracing a device driver under test and I notice a lot of messages such 
as:

dtrace: 883696 drops on CPU 0
dtrace: 862575 drops on CPU 0
dtrace: 616263 drops on CPU 0
etc...

I searched in this fora, but don't see anything pop up.

I was kinda curious what was being dropped, and are they being dropped on 
the floor?:-/
