I'll cheerfully try it if I can download for free a suitable copy
of z/VM that will run under Hercules.  My hobby (or even electrical)
budget doesn't extend to buying a mainframe, nor to the huge license
fees for mainframe software.  (there is a demo copy of z/VM available,
but AFAIK it only boots from CD/DVD, and one has to sign up - the signup looks
like it's fishing for folks with big corporate megabucks, not just li'l ol' me, so
I didn't pursue it further)
