[ethbridge-discuss] SO_REUSEPORT socket option in Solaris

Hi ,

We have a requirement where we need to bind a port to same addresses. There is an option "SO_REUSEPORT" available on AIX, Linux and some other OS which provide this capability. However Solaris doesn't support this option. Googling I could find out that this option is equivalent to using "SO_REUSEADDR" in setsockopt system call for mutlicast addresses. However we don't have multicast address but still we need to bind to the same IP:port pair.

As I found out in the below link, there was a plan to include this in future.

Is anyone aware if there is any patch for this or any way to fulfill this requirement
