Below is a list of unendorsed Projects on the site. I thought they would be listed here: http://opensolaris.org/os/projects/ and they may be, but with a name expansion (like arc-process is listed as ARC Process Definition), but I can't find all of them. For example, I can't find "cpg" (and the URL I thought might work, http://opensolaris.org/os/projects/cpg/ , does not). if you have the full URLs handy for the projects in your list, it would be very helpful to have them. I`ll generate a new list with URLs after this first pass is done. Many people have responded and we`ve chopped the list down a lot in the last two days. Also, some of those projects are in an unopened state, so you`d not be able to see them. Sorry about that. I forgot to delete those. I am following up on those separately on project-setup. I just figured the active Facilitators could easily recognize their own stuff and we could reduce the list pretty quickly, which we did. So, for the remainder, I`ll put in full urls and resend what`s left next week. Thanks so much ... When we have the new auth application integrated later this summer, we'll have a way to mark your username as the facilitator, until then we just use the table: http://opensolaris.org/os/project/facilitation/table/ For general information about the contributor roles, refer to the Constitution, Article III, which describes the roles and membership. http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/ogb/governance/ Each Community Group then defines more specific criteria for granting contributor or core contributor status. For example, you might recognize different kinds of contributions over time than other communities. But, the voting rules for each group are similar to what is in Article VII related to CGs. So, a first step is to review the contributor grants on file for your group, determine if they are correct and if there are additional contributors you'd like to nominate (usually done on the hpcdev-discuss list). You can check the grants for your CG here: http://poll.opensolaris.org Then, the most important part is to keep your community informed about the upcoming election dates (usually once a year in the Spring). OGB will send details to this list for you to disseminate as we get closer. If you have any questions feel free to send to this list, typically the response is faster, I've just been out sick the last few days. Thanks again for volunteering, much appreciated.
