[fm-discuss] FMA support for Intel based systems

I was reading docs.sun.com and I found the following documentation for the S10 6/06 release.

The Solaris Fault Manager now provides support for CPU and Memory errors detected on x64 systems, including:

    * AMD Athlon 64 and OpteronTM CPU errors
    * Northbridge and Hypertransport links errors
    * DRAM correctable, uncorrectable, and ChipKill errors

I understand that FMA does not support Intel processors, but can someone expound upon the diagnosis engine for the Northbridge and memory dimm support specifically for Intel x64 systems.
