[fm-discuss] FMA E-mail support?

This is definitely something we hope to do, but haven't completely scoped.

For a demo I wanted to do recently, I was able to use an open-source
script, snmptt, to send me e-mail notifications about diagnosed
faults. This script works in conjunction with snmptrapd, and allows
you to perform actions upon receipt of an snmp trap, including running
a shell script or other executable. Data included in the trap can be
fed to the executed program as arguments. For my demo, I fed it the case
number and had the script query the trapping host about the broken
resource. Then the script text-messaged me these few details on my cell
phone.
