So I finally finished looking at your changes.. They look pretty good to
me!

I just have one very minor nit:

fuse.h:91, 180
Missing space after '}'

Unfortunately I'm not 100% up to speed on how the fuse read
implementation should work so I think Sarah should definitely take a
look at this.
