Hi All,
    This is the Malaylam group web page for OpenSolaris. Pl. take a look 
to see to get a rough idea.

There is a general discussion egroup (this one) and a translations 
egroup (g11n-ml-translations at opensolaris.org). Current Malayalam support 
in OpenSolaris is not very usable and we hope we change made some 
positive changes to this.

the difficulty in seeing the below page is

Currently firefox in Solaris is not compiled to enable Indian languages 
support as it makes the browser slower. Browser team is looking into 
potential solutions in this area and I sure can follow up and send you 
the status when we have something.

Malayalam support in the browser will be a good start. :

    Just to let you inform that the rendering issue for Indic languages 
is filed as bug 6568147
with Solaris Firefox team and is actively tracked down.

Hopefully we will have some updates on this soon.
