Hello everyone,

As you know, we have many mailing lists in our community but due to
more than six months of inactivity, unless there is clear objection from
the corresponding language group and/or its participants, the following
mailing lists would need to be archived and deleted:

     g11n-ar-discuss
     g11n-da-discuss
     g11n-el-discuss
     g11n-pt-br-discuss
     g11n-sk-discuss
     g11n-zh-hk-discuss
     g11n-zh-tw-discuss

This is based on the existing user group and mailing list maintenance
policy in an effort to meet the balance between the required resource to
maintain and also fostering our activities within limited resource we have.

Please let us know if you'd definitely want to keep and use any of
the above mailing lists. Otherwise, to save valuable resource, as mentioned
at above, we would like to archive and delete the inactive mailing lists
at March 20, 2009.

Please be aware that from this point on we would need to demonstrate
the need for any new mailing list at the i18n-discuss mailing list first
and then we can ask for a new mailing list.

Dear Taiwan and Hongkong OpenSolaris users:

You may notice that a utility called "Device Driver Utility"(裝置驅動程式公用程式) has been shipped with OpenSolaris0811. It provides the ability to detect hardware and driver. In the up coming OpenSolaris0906, there will be a new version of the utility and now we are preparing the translations for it. 

If you are interested in the program and are willing to improve the traditional Chinese version, here is a opportunity for you -- on the following web site you can contribute your translations once you are a registered user.

It is a translation portal for OpenSolaris, and you need to register at first to edit the translations.
Please select "OS2009.06 - DDU" from the project list and then pick up "zh_TW" tasks. At the moment the amount of translation is not big, and it may cost you one or two hours to complete. 
(Note: The translation portal doesn't prevent multiple editing on a same segment. So if you edit a translated item, the previous translation will be overwritten.)
