/usr/sfw is Sun-specific.  As far as 64 subdirectory,
it is a common convention used across a variety of
bi-architecture platforms (in Solaris x86 it is a
symlink to amd64) for userland.

There's no such a standard, but yes, files in GNU/OpenSolaris
are installed on their native (/bin, /usr/bin, etc.) directories.

We use Debian packaging format.
