[gnu-sol-discuss] How to know version of glibc installed through Sun Studio 11?

Hello all,

I want to ascertain the version information of glibc library that got installed when I installed Sun Studio 11 on my Solaris 5.10 x86 machine. I want the information in [b]2.x.x[/b] format.

I have tried the pvs command but it doesnt give the format i want.
Please help.
