Solaris has sysidtool. This tool helps in configuring you hostname, ip,
naming .etc...etc...
Login as root do run "/usr/sbin/sys-unconfig" it will un-configure you
current setup and would reboot , on next bootup it would ask you all the
necessary details for setting up IP, hostname , naming services....
If you want to set static ip manually this should help.
