[gnu-sol-discuss] Changing resolution on SunOS 5.10

Hi,

I am trying to change the screen resolution using 
Preferences->Desktop Preferences->Display->Screen Resolution
but there is a error message 
"The Xserver does not support the XRandR extension. Runtime
  resolution changes to the display size are not available"

Please help me to change the screen resolution.
