Why don't you try live upgrade from S10 u2 to sol10 u3?It worked very well for me and no problems with Application as well.

But it wasn't a cluster node, but a simple V440 Oracle database server. If you have mirrored OS disks just break the mirror and do live upgrade on one submiror while keep safe the other .

Don't forget to remove old SUNWluu and SUNWlur packages and install these packages from S10 u3 before you start the Live upgrade. Also there are certain patches (nawk,etc) for live upgrade. Also you need to apply these patches. There is a sun document which lists all these patches for Solaris8,9 and 10 on sunsolve.sun.com.
