Thanks for the feedback. On quick inspection of these 3 I see immediate 
road blocks for an opensolaris HPC distro at least in the near term. 
Perhaps they will be available later.

PGI - High performance compilers  (Not available for Solaris)
Intel compilers (Not available for Solaris)
totalview (Is not opensource, we could not distribute on an opensource 
platform)
