Subject: [hpcdistro-support] vmware image from _0609 CD does not start on mac

Hi *,

I picked up the hpcdistro_0609 CD at the hpc workshop in regensburg.

As there is no virtual-box image on the cd ( as promised ) , I imported 
the vmware image into virtual- box.

When I try to start the vm,
the grub - menu shows up to select the three different boot - options.

when I select the 32 bit kernel, the os starts for about 15 seconds, but 
then the Grub menu comes back, and so on...
same happens when selecting the console-mode

I'm working on Mac Book Pro with Mac OS X 10.5.8 and VirtualBox 3.0.6


Any ideas where to look into
