I'm sure they would.  But I was under the impression (mistaken, perhaps?)
that Indiana was targeted at software developers, who are much more likely
to be using laptops, desktops, and workstations, and thus less likely to
need the more esoteric boot options.  If I'm mistaken in that assumption,
then this is definitely a bigger issue.

On the other hand, with a packaging system able to pull from multiple
repositories and the ability to install from CD/DVD without any other
drivers, the non-redistributable aspect of parts of Solaris could be
handled by the installer simply pulling this known set of packages directly
from Sun.  (This assumes that the NIC driver required for this connection
is redistributable, of course.)
