Actually, I'm not.  It takes work on the part of a number of
individuals to make any change to OpenSolaris, such things don't happen
automatically just because of wishful thinking.  If you're interested
in proposing something, I would recommend participating in the
OpenSolaris Shell Project

I know that Roland has some ideas on moving forward in this area and
though I haven't had the time to review these ideas personally, perhaps
working with him would be a good start.
