Age demands respect, not emulation.  To be successful you must learn from the past and improve upon it, NOT just duplicate it or remain stagnant. 

In the context of Solaris, I believe success will come from total reinvention.  If Solaris was iteration 1, and Linux was iteration 2, Indiana should be iteration 3.
