1 - Identify which packages have old style init scripts
2 - Look if smf manifest already exist
  2.a if so, review them
2.b else, create them for scratch
3 - Try to push them on mainstream*

*: I have no idea on how to do this, I'm only familiar with Solaris
packaging through SFE, JDS CBE and specfiles, I don't know how the other
mainstream packages works.

This is the list of scripts with its respective packages that I've found so
far:
/etc/init.d/acct SUNWaccr
/etc/init.d/acctadm SUNWcsr
/etc/init.d/apache SUNWapchr
/etc/init.d/appserv SUNWasr
/etc/init.d/autoinstall SUNWadmr
/etc/init.d/boot.server SUNWbsr
/etc/init.d/cachefs.daemon SUNWcsr
/etc/init.d/deallocate SUNWcsr
/etc/init.d/devlinks SUNWcsd
/etc/init.d/dodatadm.udaplt SUNWudapltr
/etc/init.d/drvconfig SUNWcsd
/etc/init.d/imq SUNWiqr
/etc/init.d/llc2 SUNWllcr
/etc/init.d/lu SUNWlur
/etc/init.d/mipagent SUNWmipr
/etc/init.d/mkdtab SUNWcsr
/etc/init.d/ncakmod SUNWncar
/etc/init.d/ncalogd SUNWncar
/etc/init.d/pppd SUNWpppdr
/etc/init.d/sysetup SUNWcsr
/etc/init.d/ufs_quota SUNWcsr
/etc/init.d/uucp SUNWbnur

[Now's a *great* time to add value as Dave mentioned]
