What logic? I'm not suggesting anything, so no possible logic behind what I
say.

I think you have misunderstood me, or maybe, I'm explain myself really bad.
I'm trying to figure out, if Java is supposed to be part of the core
distribution, so let's say, anyone wanting to make a derivative
distribution, would need to include Java, or just part of the ¿application
layer?, so packages like openoffice.org can depend on it. Still, not
suggesting that none of the options is a bad idea, just to clarify what we
are talking about.
