Would anyone disagree with the formulation that the big barriers to  
attracting GNU-heads to Solaris are:

(a) userland differences
(b) installation
(c) package management

If so, we could stop arguing about which is a bigger deal than the  
others, and start figuring out how to do the engineering to address  
a, b, and c.  -Tim
