I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments, but having been a very long-time user of UNIX and Solaris, I still have the 
nagging feeling in my mind that out there somewhere, there is an organization that has presented Sun with a big fat 
waiver (and suitably fat check) saying "You _must_ not panic under any circumstance. We _require_ 100% uptime - no 
compromise. If data gets corrupted in such a drastic event, then its up to our data quality group to sort out any 
resulting mess".

Of course, with OpenSolaris, this is eminently possible...
