I'm not sure I agree. Alghouth OpenSolaris will be (and already is via
the SX distro) a binary distribution, it will also offer a distro
constructor, which I would think should facilitate covering old HW and
small RAM.
Also, speaking to Girts' original message, I would also think it'll
facilitate swapping this out:

with a Gentoo installer too, if someone wanted to do that.
