I apologize for being off-topic, but there was some misinformation about RBAC on this thread.

Since RBAC was first integrated into Solaris 8, it has included a set of intuitive GUI tools based on the Solaris Management Console. The SMC RBAC GUIs were enhanced in Solaris 10 to support Process Rights Management (privileges).

A simpler GUI for managing RBAC Rights was incorportated into the User Privileges tab of the GNOME 2.16  Users and Groups tool in OpenSolaris.

I agree that sudo should be available in Indiana, but RBAC is much more integrated into Solaris, supporting fine-grained user authorizations and process privileges.

A better forum for RBAC discussions is the OpenSolaris Security Community.
