[indiana-discuss] Try before you buy

I would really like to see a "try before you buy" option with (Open)Solaris.
Something like HP's testdrive program (see http://www.testdrive.hp.com)
where I can just telnet to some Solaris box and get a feeling of how the
system works (porting software to Solaris, ...).

Even if I had some spare hard disk space to install it on my laptop,
multi-booting would be just too much hassle and because of my very limited
CPU and RAM, virtualisation (VMWare, ...) isn't an option either. And even
then I wouldn't be able to get my hands on a SPARC-based Solaris.

So is there any chance we will see some publically accessible Solaris
servers anytime soon?
