To have some overseer that could prioritize these things and put them
all together when possible would be great.

256 Mb RAM was plenty sufficient for B49, at B64a it is starting to
become a problem.

No argument from me, there is a lot of progress on many fronts over many
months but no real schedule. What I feel is necessary by an overseeing
organization is a planned feature release schedule, as Ubuntu and others
do. It will allow us to determine when it will have the critical mass
needed to deploy based upon our needs.
