I'm new to this list, just since yesterday and hope I'm doing it
right.

I'm using a Sun U30 right now running Debian Etch.  I was/am
interested in Open Solaris.  I quit trying to download it because of
the run-a-round on the Sun website.  Maybe that should be the first
thing to be fixed.  How about something like: I click on "download"
and it comes down?  No other crap.  That might encourage me to try
it.

So far it sounds like a lot of people want Solubuntu.

If a person can't figure out how to set the BIOS to boot from a CD,
they probably should stay with Windows anyway.  Don't worry about
them.

Hardware support:  I want to know if my hardware is supported BEFORE
installation.  I don't want to spend a couple of weeks cruising the
Internet looking for information, especially if there is a sale on a
computer.
