Chris, knowing the people involved in actually doing the work in
building Indiana, I can say that I don't feel this particular decision
is in anyway a deliberate action to promote bash over ksh93. It is, as
I like to call it, a strawman that is meant to be discussed,
criticized and changed.

The issue as I see it is, is that by having Sun call Indiana
OpenSolaris, it presumes that bash is now the default shell for
"OpenSolaris".  Callling Indiana OpenSolaris at this point, without
community consensus, was a mistake. This perception needs to be
corrected, by reversing that decision.
